The Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) has is holding an important public hearing on September 29th in Colby to provide Sunflower and ITC customers across the state with information on the siting of a proposed 180-mile long, 345 kV transmission line through Finney, Kearny, Wichita, Scott, Logan, Sherman, Thomas and Cheyenne Counties.

The Public Hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m. (CT)

The KCC is also accepting written comments through October 9, 2026. The KCC will issue an order on or before February 15, 2027.
